site can't be reached

Our internet co. was taken over by Zito on October 1, 2022. Since that time I have been only very sporadically, able to connect my two business emails to roundcube and or webmail. I get a message saying "site cannot be reached" and "altapassorchard.org refused to connect." this is when I am on my MacBook. When I do same from my iPhone (which uses verizon) I have no problem connecting. After repeated calls and emails to Zito, I am now told to call and since I don't use their modem, they will have me ping the server. I have no idea what I'm doing. any guidance?

Hello katework2,

If you're unable to access certain websites on a specific network, this is likely due to your network's settings. If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected provides more information about this.

"Certain network settings, such as those related to using a proxy server or custom DNS server, can affect access to content on the internet. Even if you haven't changed your network settings, you might have installed software that changed those settings for you.

To find out whether the issue is with the network settings on your Mac, try viewing the website from some other device connected to the same network.

To find out whether the issue is with your network itself, try viewing the website after connecting to a different network."

For additional support with this, we'd recommend continuing to work with your network service provider if they have specific steps they'd like you to complete. Contact them here: Zito MediaContact

Regards.
