Out of nowhere, my delete key is behaving sluggishly. When I press it multiple times, it will delete two characters and then stop. Then I have to press it a bunch of times to get it to delete another character. Very odd - help?

Even if you are not 100% sure if it is a hardware or software issue, I agree with Eric--F that you should have it checked out at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. This happened with an old MacBook of mine. I didn't do anything, treating it as a minor inconvenience. Later, my T key stopped working completely, but every so often I would press it and it would type T's repeatedly to infinity. Then other keys stopped working and I could not even input my password to login to my machine. Don't be like me--get your machine checked out before you accidentally brick it through inaction.

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about issues with the delete key.
If that's the only key with an issue, and you are sure it isn't app performance or something system wide, then the computer needs to be checked at an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store.
