My Epson Workforce WF-3620 is not printing from my Mac Desktop. How do I remove the "pause" on the Mac so printing can resume?

When this happens I usually cancel the existing print job(s), then reprint.

You could also open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then select your printer and Open Print Queue. You can cancel print jobs there. And there is a Pause button there that you can try - it toggles Pause on and off.

I resolved the problem after contacting Epson:

Restore factory settings by Clearing all data and settings on the printer. You can do this by clicking on the link to access the user guide and reference pg. 276. https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd3/cpd39368.pdf

After that, I could print from my mac again! (after reconnecting the printer to the wifi since the wifi connection was removed as part of the reset.)

I have the same problem with a WF-3620. It started a few days ago after many years of using this printer without problems.

The printer is connected to the network (the wifi icon on the printer is on). The printer goes into pause mode when I start printing. If I unpause it, it gets stuck at "Ready to print" but doesn't print the document. Normally blue lights start blinking on the printer when it's printing, but they don't.

Things I tried that didn't solve the problem:

• Update MacOS to 13.1 (I had 12.6 when the problem started)
• Install the latest driver (12.62)
• Delete and reinstall the printer in Printer preferences
• Check the that the printer is on the network using the router utility (it is)
• Check that I can access the printer utility by typing its IP address in a web browser (I can)
• Print from different macs
• Print from different apps (Word, Acrobat, Firefox)

Any ideas?

Same, exact thing, happening to me (1.3.23). I've been using this printer for years. . .never a problem. I've tried installing driver updates, uninstalling the printer (and reinstalling). . .still "pauses" my print jobs,

Also printing from my iPhone using the Epson iPrint app does work.
