Issues utilizing app-specific password for iCloud account on Outlook mail client

Is there some issue utilizing the app-specific password for my iCloud account on the Outlook mail app on iOS? I have 2FA activated with multiple devices trusted under my account and already reviewed the article on troubleshooting and creating these specific passwords. Is there a delay in the acceptance for these app-specific passwords through the mobile application?

  2. Have you been able to use this feature in the past, and if yes, when did this start?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
