Hi - this is the screen I get when I tap on the "To:" field in my Gmail app on my iPhone 14. I'd like my actual email address to appear there since I send emails to myself often and I'd rather not have to type it each time. Any way to turn this suggestion off completely for Gmail?

I have searched through Gmail help and still have not found a solution to this issue. The issue first appeared with the latest ios upgrade (16.2). My best guess is it’s a problem with integrating iphone’s auto-suggested email addressees with the “hide my email” feature. It’s really an unhelpful and irritating user experience to tap into the “to” field and see your keyboard suggest two “hide your email” options. You don’t even know what you would be selecting. Any help with how to resolve this would be appreciated.

If you start typing your email it should offer to expand it. As it is gmail do you have your own email address in Google Contacts?
Only Gmail suggestions are "Hide my email"
