Hello,

I am using Icloud photos and i wanted to delete old pictures from my iPhone only. So i downloaded all the pictures on my mac and iphone and i disabled icloud photo in order to delete the old pictures from my iphone only. Now i want to turn back on icloud photo so that the new pictures download on my Mac too but I have to wait 30 days in order for the pictures to be deleted permanently. If I turn it back on right away, the old pictures will download again.

What should i do in that case please?

iPhone 13, iOS 16

You could log into your iCloud Account on the browser on your Mac, then open the Photos app and delete the photos that are inside the recently deleted folder. You don't have to wait those 30 days, you can delete the photos any time you like. This waiting period is just for safety, in case you removed them by mistake from your album in the Photo app.
