It sounds like there might be an issue with the camera on your iPhone 6s while using FaceTime. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:

  1. Make sure the camera button is toggled on: During a FaceTime call, you should see a camera button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Make sure that the camera button is toggled on (i.e., it is not white). If it is white, tap on it to turn on your camera.
  2. Restart your iPhone: Restarting your iPhone can sometimes fix minor issues with the camera or other system components. To restart your iPhone, press and hold the power button until the "Slide to power off" slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone. Then press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears.
  3. Check for updates: Make sure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. You can check for updates by going to the "General" section in the "Settings" app and selecting "Software Update."
  4. Check for hardware damage: If your iPhone has been dropped or otherwise damaged, it could cause issues with the camera. Inspect your iPhone for any visible damage and make sure that the camera is not blocked or covered.

If these steps do not help, you may need to contact Apple support for further assistance. They will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and find a resolution.
