Hi Grammysc1954,

Depending on the email account you use and how it's configured, this may be expected behavior. Email will deliver to your devices using either IMAP (Internet Messaging Access Protocol) or POP (Post Office Protocol).

Email accounts which support and are configured as IMAP will synchronize changes across devices, so that deleting an email on one device will reflect on another with the same settings when the second device refreshes with the email server.

Email accounts which support and are configured as POP will deliver your email to one or more devices, but changes are not synchronized, and each device retains its own unique copy of the message and will not reflect changes made on other devices.

It would be necessary to confirm with your email provider if your account supports POP or IMAP, and check the configuration in Settings - Mail - Accounts to see how you have the address in question configured. If necessary you can Add and remove email accounts on iPad to reconfigure an account with new server settings.

Regards.
