Mouse Keys On on Lock Screen, can’t type in my password :/

Hi :) I accidentally turned the mouse keys on and as I was working on something else, the screen locked and I can’t type in my password, nor turn the mouse keys off. I tried the command option F5 shortcut, but it’s not working. I tried every option suggested online, but it’s not very helpful. However, it seems that I’m not the only person with this issue. Hope you can help and provide me with another suggestion.

Hello ela134,

We would like to see how we can help you with the Mouse Keys and your login screen. If you force the Mac to shut down and then restart, does the issue return? You can force a shutdown if necessary by pressing and holding the power button until your Mac shuts down. You may lose unsaved changes in open documents.

Cheers!
