mouse doesn't work

Although I was able to use keyboard to login into safe mode (upper right of screen in red) I get no options to do anything. Thanks

Hello Johnoc,


If you have a wired mouse, then we'd test another wired mouse. You can also test other ports on the Mac.


If you can't connect a Magic Mouse to your Mac, then we'd take these related steps for a solution: If you can't connect your Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad to your Mac


You can simply exit safe mode by restarting the Mac normally with the Apple menu > Restart.
