Disconnected mouse and keyboard

So trying to reconnect our apple keyboard and mouse we disconnected the loge tech we were using now we can’t get anything can’t open the computer…feel so dumb

Reconnect the Logitech keyboard and mouse, pair your Apple wireless keyboard and mouse, then disconnect the Logitech keyboard and mouse.

Thank you for answering. I feel really dumb. But I kept trying to figure it out. It was on my husband’s Mac. After about an hour I realized he had turned off the mouse and keyboard!!! Ughhhhh

I turned them back on and he was reconnected. Isn’t that what we’re always told by repair people….are you plugged in? Whew at least it wasn’t a crisis. Thanks again for trying to help.

Exactly what iMac do you have. They have been in continuous production since 1998 in five broad families and likely over a thousand variants. Details here get you faster and more device-specific help.

This forum section is for iMacs made before 2006. Is yours that old?
