Hi burnernotworking,
Since you'll be using Android Auto, we can't say for sure. What we can do is provide how Apple CarPlay works:
Music
Play music from your Library. If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can also browse and stream music from the Apple Music catalog, get music recommendations in For You, and more.

What you'll need to do is contact Android Auto support, check the vehicle's user guide, or ask the car salesman how Android Auto works with an Apple Music subscription.
We did find a link for Android Auto Support, which may get you started.
Take care!
Hey burnernotworking,
You'll need to check with the stereo manufacturer to verify which devices can be connected.
Have a nice day.
Thanks for your response.
One additional question that is my big question.
Is it possible to access in my car the "Playlists" that I created in my iTunes Library that are mixes of different albums utilizing one of the methods that you wrote about? Or perhaps a different way to do that?
That is what I really want to be able to do. Thanks.
Would it be possible to do what I want if I had something other than an Android, maybe an iPhone or some other deivce? It's a huge interes to me to listen to the different songs from different albums chosen and created as 1 new CD. Thanks for all your help!
In the old days we called those mixes of different albums as "mixed tapes". Different songs from different albums chosen and created as 1 new CD.
PS -- I put Apple Music on my phone the other day already.
OK. Thanks.
