Why does my Apple Pay say “no payment cards are supported by this account?

So I am a teen and I have never had Apple Pay or used it or even taken any notice of it. However,I seen my mum and stepdad use it and I thought it was amazing so u don’t need ur card with u everywhere but I probs would just incase it didn’t work.now I’m on here trying to figure out my question above about my Apple Pay will not accept my card. I do infact have a Visa card and as I said I’m a teen so I’m not a fully grown adult so I have a GoHenry card I will upload a picture of what it says on my apple pay and as u may be able to tell it is very frustrating like u just want to cry… I have an iPhone XR and have yes updated my phone.I seen this hack somebody else commented on here around about 2016 so a couple of years ago it was about turning off ur password in settings, if u do however have an older phone any iPhone below iPhone XR/iPhone 10 u will have Touch ID or passcode and if u have any phone higher u will have Face ID and passcode all depends on which iPhone/any apple Device u have. Anyways go back to wallet and it will prompt u to have a passcode so go back and turn it on. Tried it and guess what! No luck 😭😢…. I have tried everything.does any people on here know how to solve it?? It would really help I would appreciate it so much!!! 👌I will now put a picture on!!i really don’t get it and it’s very frustrating!! Ye my phone needs charging I’m aware of it 😂😂

Hello Oliviacassell,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Since it sounds like you are a teen who is in a Family Sharing group, there may be restrictions on your iPhone.

You can see these by following these steps:

1. Settings

2. Screen Time

3. Content & Privacy Settings

From there, tap on Allowed Apps and see if Wallet is enabled. If not, you may need to have your family organizer make changes. Check out the following section of Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

"Allow built-in apps and features

You can restrict the use of built-in apps or features. If you turn off an app or feature, the app or feature won't be deleted, it's just temporarily hidden from your Home Screen. For example, if you turn off Mail, the Mail app won't appear on your Home Screen until you turn it back on.

To change your Allowed Apps:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
  2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  3. Enter your Screen Time passcode.
  4. Tap Allowed Apps.
  5. Select the apps that you want to allow."

Take care.
