My iPhone XR quit vibrating.

XR quit vibrating. There is not even the option to turn it on under settings/haptics. Have the most recent updates installed. If it's an internal vibration motor problem, I understand but why wouldn't the option to use it at least be on the menu?

creed ~ The capacity of that original iPhone XR battery could be weaker than its 84% reading implies. Consider having the aging battery replaced and see if vibrations are restored:

Hi creed33,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

On your iPhone, you can enable vibrations by following these steps:

1. Settings

2. Sounds & Haptics

Make sure that you have restarted your iPhone and updated to the latest iOS version for the latest performance fixes.

If the issue remains after checking these settings and your device is running the latest version of software, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support to have this looked into further.

As I said, it’s updated. It’s been off and turned off numerous times. Research says it could be an internal vibration motor issue. I understand that but the vibrate option doesn’t even appear as a choice anymore. Does the phone just know the motor is dead so it takes it off the menu? I just liked that feature so I’m trying to figure it out.
