I deleted a genre from music library. Want to restore it. I Go to trash, but how do I find the deleted genre file to put back ? It was 400 albums and I don't see a file like that in trash.

Open your Trash folder. Sort it by the "date added" column, which refers to the date it was added to the Trash. Focus on the day the mistaken deletion took place and see what you have.
Also, depending how the deletion was done, the files are not necessarily in the Trash. They may still be in the Media folder where they always were, even if they are no longer in your library. Please check that too.
