Child account / Invalid phone number message

Hi

I'm setting up an Apple ID for my child but I keep getting an error message saying Invalid Phone Number.

The phone number and area code are correct. I don't understand what could be wrong.

Is there anything I can do?

If you are unable to complete the steps to create a child account, see if the following resources help:


    1. Ensure you are following these steps Create an Apple ID for your child
    2. Make sure you all have the same country/region Change your Apple ID country or region
    3. Test on a different device
