Unable to set up Child account because of error "Invalid Phone Number"

Hello:


"Santa Clause" brought an iPad Gen 9 to my kid. I am trying to create a kid's apple app store account using the path in my iphone: "Settings > "Family Sharing" > "Invite Family Create Child Account" . After I put every detail as it is, date of birth, confirm that I'm an adult buy setting up my Debit/credit Card, and go through the painful long process, I get an error message "Your Phone Number is Invalid" I hace tried my correct phone number, and also my wife's phone number and I cannot get thos resolved. Is Super frustrating. Can I get help for this please?

Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child - Apple Support -- Double-check the steps in this article to ensure you’re creating an Apple ID for your child correctly.


If you are, we have a couple of things to check/try.


Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support -- Make sure your Apple ID country/region is correct and the child's account is set to the same one.


Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID - Apple Support -- Make sure that the payment method attached to your Apple ID is allowed for your country/region.


If you have another phone number you can provide, manually enter a different number by choosing the option titled, "Use a Different Number for [name]".


Should the issue persist, you’ll want to contact Apple Support to look into this issue further with you: Get Support
