My wrist is burning after wearing my apple watch 8 ultra

I talked to a person, to no avail. Apple tech said it’s not the watch! No help whatsoever.

I have the exact same burn. Apple won’t admit to anything. I need the watch to monitor my AFIB. Everyone says to stop wearing it, Dr’s, etc. I put it on my right wrist for now .

Good idea - it would have stopped me catching my wrist while getting clothes from a drawer. It's all it takes.

PS while researching these complaints back to well before Series 5, I just found out it is called "Senile purpura".

The advice is to contact Apple and/or your doctor simply because nobody is qualified to help or diagnose your particular problem.

Contacting Apple will help them collate the statistics.

No, nothing really on my skin at all. The rash was gone in a few hours after I took off the watch, the red bumps were gone a few days later.

Maybe the first time it happened you might have decided that your skin cannot take LED green and I/R light.

Stop wearing it. Maybe sell it on.

So see a dermatologist who will probably tell you not to wear sports watches if your skin can't take an LED light.

Certainly don't wear it at night and in the shower. Clean it daily

I am having the same issue. I thought it’s because I have a very tiny wrist and the Ultra watch weight could contributed in developing this skin burning/irritation.

Try daily cleaning the watch and your wrist with alcohol. Switch sides and try to keep it loose. As your doctor about an infection .

point taken. My sleep lessons with the Apple Watch have already been learned. Time to give my watch a rest at night, pun intended.
