Apple Watch update
My daughters Apple Watch Series 3 will not update. She got it for Christmas from her uncle. It is erased and clean. It just sits at the download stage for more than 12 hours

Try these steps:
Reset your Router to factory settings.
Ensure your iPhone has no VPN or adblocker profiles installed.
Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.
If the update won't start:
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap All Watches then [name]'s Watch
Tap General > Software Update.
Delete the update file.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.
