Studio Display audio cuts out

Has a definitive solution to the Studio Display audio cutting-out problem been found?

Un-plugging and powering off was the only answer on offer that I have found, and it doesn't seem to work on mine.

I get about 2 seconds of sound before it cuts out.

I'm still running Monterey 12.3.1

Not sure if that matters.
