How can I recover CardDAV account when I don't know my information

I recently was receiving a pop up error message whenever I would go on my contacts or try and make a call. I tried numerous passwords and none worked. I then went to my accounts and saw that one account was old. It said it was a "google" account and the email associated with it was one I had not had in over 20 years. So I deleted the account. In doing so, it deleted most of my contact names. Looking at my text messages, no ones name is listed and their profile pictures I assigned to their contacts are no longer there. Is there any way I recover this information without knowing information for my CardDAV account?

Hello bpricer15,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with your contacts disappearing after deleting your Google account. You would need to add the account back to your device to get the contacts back, them sync them with iCloud as described here so that you can remove the account if you like: Set up and use iCloud Contacts

"Add Contacts from third-party accounts

If you store contacts in a third-party email service, you can add the email account to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Then check that Contacts is enabled."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
