Battery drain on relatively new iphone

So, I've been noticing for a while that my iPhone SE 3 is draining really fast. for example it was at 100% last night when I went to bed and when I got up it was at 92%. Between 9:00AM and 3:00PM it had gone down 12%. Then I did just a bit of reading and after only about 10 minutes it was down to 61%. My max battery capacity is 100% and I've had the phone since September. Despite this, my iPhone is draining much faster on this new iphone than on my 2-year-old ipad, which I have had audio playing on for more than the time I sleep on average, with only about a 5% drain in battery. I charge both of these devices about twice a week or else when the batteries get down into the 40s. What can be going on? Anything I could do that does not involve losing data? Thank you so much in advance. This is much appreciated.

There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your iPhone SE's battery draining quickly:

  1. Make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS. You can check for updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If an update is available, install it.
  2. Check which apps are using the most battery. You can do this by going to Settings > Battery. The list of apps will show you which apps are using the most battery and may help you identify any apps that are using more battery than they should.
  3. Turn off any unnecessary features or settings. For example, you can turn off background app refresh by going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and selecting "Off" for all apps or for specific apps. You can also turn off push email by going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data and selecting "Manual".
  4. Try restarting your iPhone. This can sometimes resolve battery issues. To restart your iPhone, press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" slider appears, then drag the slider to turn off your device. After your device turns off, press and hold the power button again until you see the Apple logo.
  5. If none of the above steps help, you may want to try resetting your iPhone's settings. This will not delete any of your data, but it will reset all of your settings to their default values. To reset your settings, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

If you have tried all of the above steps and your battery is still draining quickly, there may be an issue with the hardware of your iPhone. In this case, you may need to bring your device to an Apple store or authorized service provider for further assistance.
