can I trigger a shortcut with a homekit light switch?

I'd like my shortcut to trigger and run when a lightswitch in homekit is toggled on. The switch state change would trigger the shortcut.

How to toggle HomeKit light on Lock Screen? Hello, I’d like to toggle one of my HomeKit lights directly on the Lock Screen. Because it takes too much time to do this in control center (slide down at top of screen, tap home, scroll to room, find light). How can I do that? i thought the new iOS 16 Lock Screen widgets have that but no. They only show how many lights are on. i am going crazy with this. Tried third party apps like Widgetsmith or Home widget. Tried Shortcuts. Tried the Today widgets. Have I overlooked anything?

My Hue switches no longer show in Home app. How do I find hidden switches in the Home app. I’ve had my Hue dimmer switches in the Home app since there was a Home app. I noticed after the last iOS update Home broke until I updated. Now my switches are gone. I can only control lights directly. I would like to fix the button behaviors I previously had setup for my physical switches in the Home app. My wife is getting EXTREMELY frustrated that she can’t simply push a button and not get some funky nightclub light setting.

Roger. Waving of iPhones around not doing it for me, easier to just tap the shortcut on screen. Plus if only Homekit actions can be triggered by NFC, then I guess I’m out of options.

Using NFC tags with Shortcuts can trigger many iPhone apps, not just Homekit.
