Carrier lock

AT&T is my original carrier over 2 years ago I changed carriers to Consumer Cellular neither carrier can seem to unlock my iPhone 7plus after 9 days of trying and several phone calls and visits to AT&T stores I still am unable to switch to Spectrum mobile there has to be a solution to this problem I am sure I am not the only one who encountered this problem by not being able to switch carriers I am losing 30 dollars a month.

How do I unlock my iPhone 13 mini from carrier restrictions? Purchased phone at Walmart - 13 mini. Put my Spectrum SIM card in it. Two years later I’m switching carriers and Spectrum said they unlocked it. Yet the SIM card says carrier locked and the technician says problem is the wal-mart 13 mini phone. Apple says the carrier lock looks like Verizon (Spectrum’s network). Verizon says Apple is wrong. 7 hours on phone with technicians all pointing fingers. So do I just toss the phone in the garbage? because it still says Carrier locked on the sim. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You'll need to work with your carrier. Only they can unlock the device.
