I got a replacement phone and the SIM card from the old one doesn’t work what do I do I can’t make calls and my mom home number isn’t there

Difficulty transferring number and service I just received an iPhone 14+ and I went to transfer my phone number and service to it from my iPhone 11. I went to do the eSIM transfer but received an error message saying that my SIM card was not compatible. Afterwards I went to follow the instructions that came with the box to set it up through straight talk, I selected the option to keep my old phone number and completed the process. Could not log into Apple ID on old or new device, required sms for 2 fact. auth. Apple ID regained through 7 day process Why won’t my SIM card work in either phone now? But works in any other device? friends SIM cards also work in both the iPhone 11 and 14 but my sim doesn’t. I also can not get an eSIM, as the set up required you to have the sim in the phone you’re trying to set up, but required a code sent to the number that won’t work

Contact your cellular carrier. they may have to deactivate the old phone in order to activate the replacement.
