iMovie Format
I created an iMovie. I want to share it to a non-Mac computer. The other computer cannot open/play the video. How can I send the iMovie in a format other platforms can play?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

If you sent the movie in Mp4/AAC format it should be playable almost everywhere. You will get an Mp4 movie at all export settings except Best Quality (pro res) that renders in the .mov format. Sometimes the .mov format contains codecs that might not suit certain video players. Open your movie in QuickTimePlayer and do a Window/Show Movie Inspector to check the format. If it is the .mov format, then re-export your Movie in the High quality setting rather than Best quality. Then see if it will play on a non-Mac Computer.
The above may not be your situation, in which case you need to find out what formats that the non-mac's video player will play, and convert your movie to one of those formats.
The problem could also be at the non-mac computer's end.
