iPhone storage is different from PC internal storage

Hello,

I am trying to transfer some heavy files from my computer to my iPhone, but when I try to transfer I get a storage full warning. Inside the Iphone it informs that I have 52Gb free, but in the computer storage, only 3GB which is not enough. I already entered Itunes to check the storage and it says the same thing as the computer. Little free space. As well as all my photos are located on Icloud storage. I need to solve this urgently, thanks.

Hello Leozin,

Thank you for posting to the Apple Support Communities.

You may need to make more available storage on your iPhone to transfer these files. The following Apple Support article explains how you can view storage recommendations in your device settings: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad

You may also consider moving some of your files to the iCloud Drive. This can help you make more device storage available on your iPhone and PC. Click here to find out more: Access and manage your files in iCloud Drive

All the best!

Hello, as I had said earlier, all my files that are considerably heavy are already located in Icloud. A proof that the cell phone space that the computer reports is wrong is that when I try to download an application from the App Store, the download occurs perfectly, even though it is greater than 3GB (free space informed by the computer). This makes the problem difficult to decipher, since it seems that the computer is delivering incorrect information. I've already tested it on 2 different computers and I still have the same problem...

Sorry for my bad english, I was using Google Translator :)
