Super B print size

In the past I was able to print foundation plans that were emailed to me in Super B size right off my iPhone. That option has disappeared and I am only able to do it from my iPad or my MacBook. I cannot remember when this changed and if it was due to an iOS update. My printer is an Epson Workforce 7620. I have been breaking my head but don’t know what to do to get this option back on my phone so that I won’t have to run to my iPad or MacBook when I am away from them.

Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

Hi Relic72,

Some apps allow for specific printer configuration, such as Pages as outlined at Set paper size and orientation in Pages on iPhone. Others may rely on information from your printer or the document itself.

If you have an app for your printer installed on the iPhone, confirming that it is up-to-date and configured properly would be a good next step.

If you are printing these files from an app you installed, checking with the developer of that app for possible configuration options via How to contact an app developer may help.

Barring those, you may reach out to Apple Support directly to investigate further possible solutions.

Regards.

Hello Relic72,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with printing from your iPhone. Try the steps in this article to see if they resolve the issue: Print from iPhone

"Print from iPhone

Use AirPrint to print wirelessly to an AirPrint-enabled printer from apps such as Mail, Photos, and Safari. Many apps available on the App Store also support AirPrint.

iPhone and the printer must be on the same Wi-Fi network. See the Apple Support article About AirPrint.

See the status of a print job

Open the App Switcher, then tap Print Center.

The badge on the icon shows how many documents are in the queue.

To cancel a print job, select it in Print Center, then tap Cancel Printing.

Print a document

Tap the Share buttonthe More button, or the Reply button (depending on the app you’re using), then tap Print. (Swipe up if you don’t see Print.)"

We hope this helps.

Relic72,

We recommend that you try the steps in the link below since you're unable to print from your iPhone:

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

To perform the recommended troubleshooting steps via the link above, complete the steps in the section titled "Print with AirPrint."

1) Open the app that you want to print from.
2) To find the print option, tap the app’s Share button  or  or the Actions button.
3) Scroll down and tap the Print button or Print. If you can’t find the print option, check the app’s User Guide or Help section. Not all apps support AirPrint.
4) Tap No Printer Selected and choose an AirPrint-enabled printer.
5) Choose the number of copies or other options, like which pages you want to print.
6) Tap Print in the upper-right corner.

We recommend the steps above because they will show you how to print from your iPhone or iPad to an AirPrint-enabled printer.

Please let us know the outcome after giving the above steps a try.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!

Hello,

Sorry for such late response. I have done all of the above and I am able to print in many sizes but the option for superB/A3 (13x19) is gone. I was able print in that size because my printer allows it but I do not understand why that option has disappeared. For a while I was able to print my residential plans from my iPad in that size but after doing an update that option was gone from my iPad too. Right now I am able to print it from my MacBook Air but I am scared that after completing some update that option will disappear too and this is very essential for my line of business. Do you have any other suggestions since all of the above has already been tried?

Thank you in advance.
