Logic Pro version 10.7.6 audio engine unable to process all required data in time

Hello everyone!!

I am having problems with my version of Logic Pro (version 10.7.6) and I am getting this dialog:

“Logic Pro version 10.7.6 audio engine unable to process all required data in time”.

I am using MacOS Monterey version 12.6.2 (best to let you know that my Logic settings have not changed since upgrading to BOTH) so that is not the issue.

It isn't with all projects but it is the large projects with (obviously) lots of audio and manipulation. In the case of the project I am currently working on (attached image) there are quite a few plugins working.

The warning appears after a few seconds (in many instances) of playback and continues to be displayed after each response of mine (clicking OK) until I save at any particular point, quit Logic, and re-open the project.

Just guessing,

it seems, you are using many apple loops with different original tempos and probably original pitches as well. Beside this, I see many little regions. This all together might be hard work for a computer. What happens if you bounce all apple loops and transposed audio files ?

Before trying this, make a proper copy of your project including audio files.

And what I don't see in your picture is the use of plugins, which can sometimes be improved economically. But the use of too many plugins usually leads to an overload message.

BTW, you can simply change the audio device to built-in just to verify it's not caused by your sound card.

Same problem here happening with Logic Pro 10.7.6 and Logic Pro 10.7.7 on macos Monterey 12.6.3 on iMac Pro 3,2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W - 32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4.

System Overload when changing any synth plugins when Logic is playing even with empty project 1 single channel.

Logic Pro 17.7.7 System Overload but if you rescan all the plugins - Full Audio Unit Reset - it will work until next restart.
