Would exposing the underside of the Apple Watch to sunlight affects its light sensors?

I usually leave my Apple Watch idle with the watch face pointing upwards.

Today, I found it upside down, with the light sensors facing up, with some light sunlight on it. It must’ve been in this position for a few hours.

Would this type of light exposure affect the unit’s light sensors’ accuracy?
