HomeKit doesn't sync automations

I added an automation (that activates a short cut) to the HomeKit app on an iPhone. I added a second automation (that activates a short cut) to the HomeKit app on a Mac. The automations don't sync. Syncing via iCloud is turned on, and other HomeKit stuff syncs, including Scenes, Rooms, Accessories, and canned automations like Leaves Home and Arrives Home.

Homekit Hi all, thank you in advance for taking the time to read this... I've added a smart bulb to my Hallway. Named the room and its on my iPad as a hub, it automatically synched with my older iPhone 8, and shows up on that phones Home Screen as a room, same with my MacBook Pro, but my new iPhone 13 mini shows its there if I open "edit settings" but it isn't appearing on my home kit home page as a room. If I try to add a room I just get a message saying "this room already exists". All my devices are set up to synch through iCloud. But the room (Hallway) just isn't appearing on the HomeKit Home Screen. Even though the phone is recognising it as been there and I can operate the "Hallway" with Siri on my iPhone mini.

HomeKit presence not working for residents of household on IOS 17 HomeKit presence not working for residents of household on IOS 17. Ever since my family updated to IOS 17 my automations in HomeKit based on presence have stopped working. Seems to be only for residents of the home. Myself as the home owner it works fine. I have checked all the relevant settings and permissions on their phones and it’s all correct. I delete and re-add them to the home and it works for a day or two then stops working again. It just constantly thinks they are home

No response and weird syncing on Home app across devices I recently moved house, and am now trying to set up my old domotica setup. As of now, it consists of 1 HomePod mini as my hub, and 4 Eve Energy Matters. The rest will come later, or it was supposed to. When adding the Eve plugs to Home, I scan the provided Matter QR code with my iPhone 15 pro, all the while keeping Home open on both my iPad Pro and my iMac. All have been updated to their respective latest OS version - iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and MacOS 15. When adding, however, they immediately sync across all 3 devices, but on my iPad and iMac they show up as "not responding", while it's perfectly fine on the iPhone. Note that all my settings are identical across devices, including iCloud and wifi (I have both 2.4 and 5gHz, with the HomePod only able to access the 2.4, and my devices temporarily set to 2.4 as well to avoid issues). I have no VPN active. After a couple minutes, the Eve plugs also go "non responsive" on the iPhone. Nothing has changed on the iPad or iMac. Sometimes I can still turn them on or off on the iPhone, even when "unresponsive", but ONLY in the Home Widget on my Home Screen. I have tried: resetting the plugs. resetting the HomePod. resetting the iPhone, iPad and iMac. resetting the router. keeping anything from accessing the 5gHz band so everything stays nice and stable on 2.4. resetting everything all at once. deleting the Home app entirely and reinstalling. factory resetting the whole shebang. disabling and re-enabling iCloud settings. moving accessories to different rooms. You name it, I tried it. Is there any solution to this, or am I stuck with a bunch of useless smart devices? Note that everything worked swimmingly in the old house, on the exact same system.

Well, it finally synced. After 12-16 hours. How strange. I don't recall Apple advertising that iCloud worked that way.
