Ventura Permissions when copy and pasting from Server to Mac device

Up to Mac OS Monterey, I could copy a folder from the NAS Drive, paste it on the machine and the permissions on the folder were automatically set as Read and Write. However, when upgrading to Ventura, when copying and pasting a folder from the server to the Mac, the folder remains as Read Only. Every time the permission has to be set to read and write manually on the mac. Is there a solution on how to go about it which change the permissions automatically as it use to.

The permissions on the folders on the NAS drive are set as Read only for all of the users so they can not over write what is saved on the server. Monterey and older Mac OS versions when you copy a read only folder from the server and pasting it on the desktop, that folder automatically changes to Read and write, however on Ventura, it remains as read only.
