How do I clean my iPhone message cache

There are a couple of things that can be done.

If you are trying to delete messages from the Message app, these steps from Delete messages on iPhone - Apple Support should help:

Delete a message

1. Touch and hold a message bubble, then tap More.

2. Select the message bubbles you want to delete, then tap .

Delete a conversation

In the Messages list, swipe left on the conversation, then tap .
