Depends on what models you are looking for. Apple stores and the Apple online store generally maintain the same model availability.
For example, you won't find say an iPhone 13 Pro Max currently in a physical Apple Store since Apple is no longer selling those and generally recalls any unsold stock from its stores when it discontinues specific models.

You might try authorized Apple resellers such as carriers and Best Buy.
You might also look at Apple's Online store for refurbished products:
