The search function of Calendar stopped working. It stopped after the app locked up with the beach ball and I could not shut the app down. I had to use Force Quit. After that I lost the search function. I've tried to refresh from iCloud and tried the Spotlight-Privacy steps mentioned, they did not work. My MBK Pro is running Monterey 12.6.2. Interestingly the search function works fine on my iPad and iPhone 14 Pro.

To confirm you have gone to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Spotlight, > Search Results > and confirmed "Events and Reminders" is checked? If you haven't check it and see if it helps.
If it doesn't, we'd like to test in safe mode. Safe mode helps determine if the issue is related to software that loads when the Mac boots up. For steps on booting into safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac.
After confirming whether or not it worked in safe mode, restart the Mac normally and test there again.
If it still doesn't work, you can contact us back letting us know if it worked in safe mode. That answer could help you get more answers.
