CAC Reader Stopped Working

My certs from my CAC suddenly are not being read by my CAC. CAC works fine on machine at work via reader. All certs are loaded. Using OsMonterrey. Any ideas.

The computer can see my smart card reader and read my certificates. I can sign documents with my CAC using Adobe Acrobat. I have tried both of my CAC readers that previously worked with my MacBook and neither will work on Chrome or Safari. I went to militarycac.com and restarted the entire process of installing the certificates in my keychain to no avail. I'm not sure if this is a Sonoma problem or something else but I've tried every solution I can find online and nothing has made any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. New MacBook with Ventura doesn't recognize that I have a CAC in the USB reader. Hello, I have a brand new MacBook Pro with Ventura that recognizes I have a card reader attached to USB, but the computer won't read the certificates from the chip on my Common Access Card so that I can access protected websites. I have tried 3 different card readers. Thank you.

Nothing happens in KeyChain Access when I try to open a .cer file I am trying to install a iOS development certificate to my keychain. When I double click the downloaded .cer file, or drag it over the Keychain Access icon, Keychain Access opens, but nothing else happens. I don't even get any error messages. I have tried to restart Keychain Access, and restart the computer. I also tried it with another certificate to see if there was something wrong with this one, but I got the same result. What can I try?

Same here. Was working fine yesterday. I have a a MacBook Pro 16 as well, running 12.6.2. I've tried two external readers, no love. I tried a windows machine with a built-in reader and it read the certs fine.
