If I change my old region to the new region, I won’t change it back to the old region?

I want to change region to Mexico in order to download unavailable apps in the American AppStore but I’m not sure how is changing the region going to affect my account.

if I change region, I won’t change it back?

it’s like in google play store: if I change region from United States to Mexico, I won’t change it back for the next 365 days.

Will this affect my account?

You may wish to note that some of the observations in a previous post are difficult to confirm using Apple's current documentation. For example, Apple does intimate international use of payment methods is possible:

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

"You might need to ask your financial institution to allow international purchases on your debit or credit card."

Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID - Apple Support used to say this but no longer does: "Make sure that the billing address for your payment method matches the billing address for your Apple ID. In some cases, you might need to call your bank or financial institution to authorize international or online purchases. You might also need to confirm that the mobile number associated with your payment method is correct."

Mind you, just because Apple un-says something doesn't mean it no longer applies, just that they don't say it anymore.

From a practical perspective you might find it difficult to add an address from one country into the boxes provided for another country for address information.

You can only use an App Store for a country where you are a legal resident, have a payment method issued by a bank in that country with a verifiable billing address in that country.

You can't change countries just because you want apps only available in that country's app store.

The article "Change your Apple ID country or region" describes how to change your country setting on everything using your Apple ID, and the requirements and results of doing this --> Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support

Because of the requirements, changing country setting is not done casually. The system is set up to only facilitate doing this if you are moving to the other country to take up residency. It makes it difficult for people to temporarily change country settings to do things such as get around distribution restrictions only allowing them to buy items available in the country where they live.

Apple used to have a timer similar to the setup you mention but it is no longer mentioned in their documentation if there still is one.

If I change my old region to the new region, I won’t change it back to the old region?
