Is this happening on the latest version of iOS 16? The latest is currently iOS 16.2. You can confirm by going to Settings > General > About to confirm. Software updates contain bug fixes and security updates that help with the functionality of your device.

- Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
- Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software
