Magnetism of Apple Pencil 1

I have the new MacBook Pro. Recently, I got the Apple Pencil 1 to use for my iPad. The stylus has a magnetic top with a magnetic cap. It does stick at both corners next to the Force Touch trackpad as well as on the speakers at both sides of the keyboard. I lay my stylus at one of those corners so it does not roll away.

Will this negatively affect the stylus or MacBook Pro?
