AirPods Max headband peeling

Have an issue with headband of Max one.

Only home using, haven't done anything that can damage them at all.

Does anyone have the same experience and how to fix it if you know.

Not what i expected for $550 :(

Static in left AirPods Pro (1st gen) when noise cancellation is turned on. After starting music or streaming video, it will sound fine for a couple minutes. Then some static/white noise appears in only the left one covering up most of the audio. Static goes away when noise cancellation and transparency are disabled. AirPod Pro Firmware 6A300. iPhone is at 17.1.2. This just started happening a couple weeks ago. They are out of AppleCare coverage. I tried the reset procedure in an Apple support article, but it did not help. I know a replacement is $89. Curious if anyone knows of other reset procedures before I go down that route. Thanks for any help.

Cosmetic issues aren't covered by any warranty.
