How to export a GIF with FCPX

The title says it all... The only method I have heard of is using compressor. If so... this is freaking ridiculous. I have FCPX. I have Motion. I have Logic. How much more money do you need???? Really please tell me that after paying god knows how much money the only way to make a GIF- a freaking GIF is with an additional 50€ software?????? Seriously??? Come on Apple. Imagine if the only way to export a WAV from logic was by paying an additional 50 bucks. That would be absolutely insane- which this is. A gif. Shortcuts on my phone can make a gif but FCPX cant??????? I would be absolutely embarrassed about this if I was someone who was involved with coding FCP. Great. Well I sure hope someone can tell me of another way in replies cuz im not paying another dang 50€ just to be able to accomplish making a gif in 2023

What export options Apple chooses to support in FCP is something over which we have no control. That said, your comparison is just not fair. WAV is a professional audio format, it would not make sense for a DAW not to support it. But that would more like FCP not supporting Quicktime mov, not gif. You can argue you want that format; but you can’t claim that gif is a professional video format, which it isn’t.
