Apple Mail folders not displaying after moving from Exchange to Apple Mail

I am running a MacBook M1x with 13.1

I have moved my email from an exchange server to Apple Mail.

My online mail folders display correctly in all my email applications except Apple Mail and Outlook for Mac, in that they are completely missing from the folder tree except for the Inbox and a new Test folder I created. Outlook for Windows displays my mail folders correctly, Spark an email client on the App Store displays my mail folders correctly. iPhone and iPad display my email folders correctly.

I contacted Apple Support in October last year, they have run extensive diagnostic tests and have referred it to the engineers. Despite following up I get zero feed back or suggestions as to a resolution.

Anyone else have a similar problem, any advice welcome.

"My online mail folders display correctly" and where is this on-line?

Exchange is a mail server,

which means it's a dedicated network resource management program.

Outlook is an email client, which means it's a software program

installed on your desktop that is designed to send and receive emails

are you saying you are using three different email clients on your same machine...(?)

Outlook

Mail.app

Spark

Thank you for trying. I have tried all of those ideas.

Spark works - no problems.

Apple Mail does not!

I am no longer using Exchange. I backed up the Exchange account to a PST, I logged into my IMAP Apple mail account on Outlook for Windows. I imported the PST file and let it sync.

The mail Outlook for Windows displays my mail folder structure correctly. My iPad and iPhone display my mail folder structure correctly. On my Mac Spark (a native Mac mail client) displays my folder structure correctly. Apple Mail and Outlook for Mac DO NOT display my folder structure at all. The see the INBOX, plus SENT, DELETED etc but none of my subfolders.

You can add to "Favorites" moving the mouse to the right side to reveal the hidden options.

Same with "On My Mac"

Same with "Dominant" —which seems to include a lot of detritus which I ignore.

You can spin the carrot on the left to drill down
