iMac won't automount server drive after Ventura update
Hello,
I have a 2020 iMac that I recently upgraded to macOS 13 (now 13.1). I have a 2014 Mac Mini that runs macOS 10.14, and has a RAID drive connected to it. The RAID drive is hosted via AFP and SMB. For legacy reasons, I use AFP to connect to it regularly.
In prior system versions, I have put the mounted server RAID drive as a Login Item in System Preferences on my iMac. I have never had an issue with it then automatically mounting on the desktop each time I log into my iMac. Since upgrading to macOS 13, probably 90% of the time or so, I get an error about being unable to connect to the server when the machine starts up and logs me in. About 10% of the time it works fine. No matter when I connect manually, it works just fine - it is only when the machine tries to mount the drive automatically at startup does it fail.
Both machines are hardwired via Ethernet to an AirPort Extreme base station (last generation).
As you can imagine, it is really starting to get irritating that it does not just work automatically the way it always did. Any help would be appreciated.
