Logitech keyboard locks up ipad.

The problem with my Logitech keyboard is growing worse. It worked ok for about 45 days. Then it started to generate odd characters instead of ENTER. Recently it would not let me type occasionally, solved by disconnecting and reconnecting. Now, it blocks data entry when connected. Cleaning the contacts has not changed anything.
