iCloud not syncing with MacBook after Monterey update
I recently upgraded to Monterey from High Sierra on my MacBook Pro (2016) and updated my iPhone 11 to IOS 16.2 at the same time. I ended up with multiple copies of each of my contacts on both devices and iCloud. I used merge on both devices and have tried some other things which have led me to now- nothing is duplicated but the most contacts are on my macbook. My iCloud has about half the contacts and doesn't seem to be syncing with my computer. It is syncing with my phone, which has the same amount of contacts.
Apple support suggested that I hard sync my contacts from my computer to my phone, but my computer isn't recognizing my phone even after I did a reinstall of the OS. Even if it worked, that doesn't solve the sync issue with iCloud.
I have signed in and out of iCloud on Mac and phone and restarted both
Any suggestions on how I can resolve this would be appreciated.
On a side note, my computer isn't allowing me to manually delete the duplicate groups(merge didn't work on those. Thoughts on how to resolve that would be helpful too.
Thank you!
