panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80042a0a2c): assertion failed

Hi guys,

my iMac 27" Retina 5K ultimo 2014 started to crash very often (yesterday about 5-6 times), after it restarts the following report comes up:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80042a0a2c): assertion failed: hport != 0, file: /System/Volumes/Data/SWE/macOS/BuildRoots/a0c6c82cc8/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-7195.141.26/bsd/skywalk/namespace/netns.c, line: 977

Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return Address"

I have attached the complete report.

Does anyone know what the problem is here and how i can solve it?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.6

Additional information:

  • I thought some external hard disks or USB sticks would cause the problem, that is not the case
  • I also thought that programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign would cause the crash, that is also not the case because the iMac even crashes when no programs are running (and it always worked fine before running these programs simultaneously)

Another report from yesterday:
