Does anyone know what to do if your iphone is stuck in sos mode/status?

My phone is stuck in sos mode. In the status bar up in the top right hand corner of my iphone I only see SOS. When I am on wi-fi I can do everything normally but when I am off of wi-fi it just shows SOS and I can't do anything on my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?
