Rugged cover for iPad 11 Pro M2

All models of iPad Pro 11” are physically identical.

As such, a case designed for an iPad Pro 11” can be used with the first to fourth (current) generation of the iPad Pro 11”.

Fitted cases designed for other models of iPad will not fit the iPad Pro 11”. A simple slip-case, or an elasticated folio case, may be usable between models.

What about cases made for the other iPads that came out more recently, I think 10.9" iPads?- would those cases fit onto an iPad Pro 11 in? I keep thinking I read somewhere that they were using the same outer shell in these newer iPads that they've used in the old 11 pros, making another model actually cross compatible in that way. I'm probably mixing something up but its really hard to find out if the 10.9 inch iPads cases will work on an 11 inch iPad pro
