Apple Watch Ultra got wet and stopped.

I went swimming for the first time last night wearing my AW Ultra and was using the indoor swim function, counting the lengths/laps.

After about 20 minutes the display went red. I tried to force reboot it using the crown and the side button; the apple logo appeared for a few seconds and then disappeared. The watch has then become stuck in a cycle of the apple logo appearing and disappearing, and won’t do anything else.

Has anyone else seen this and has a fix??

Just got back from a water park in Washington. Was thrilled to have the ultra with me. Everything seemed to be functioning correctly with the water lock. Got out to get lunch and it glitched as though the buttons were all being pressed at once. Alarm goes off. SOS gets triggered. I could just barely get it to turn off. It starts overheating and then Apple logo cycles. Bricked. I’m extremely disappointed.

Hey David_GWH,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Since it sounds like your Apple Watch was responsive, force restart was a great step to take. If you've used the following guidance from Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support and this continues, it may be best to reach out to Apple Support for a closer look at the issue.

"Force restart your Apple Watch

You should force restart your Apple Watch as a last resort and only if it's not responding.

Don’t force restart your Apple Watch if you're updating watchOS. After you see the Apple logo and progress wheel, leave your watch alone and on its charger until the update finishes.

To force restart your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo."

All the best.

I just cleaned up my Ultra for the first time in almost 4 months, turned on the water locker first, left to dry in a towel and when I putted on my wrist, tryed my password, something red appeared on the left side, stayed there for my attempts, and suddenly the screen turned black and dead. I will try to go to the Apple Store on 28, February but things in Brazil never works fine. Let’s see
