GIMP not working on my mac

I downloaded GIMP and when I try and open it I get this message "You can't open the application “GIMP” because this application is not supported on this Mac" Please help

Maybe used the wrong download button?


Use the circled download button for a direct DMG download of the Intel x86-64 kit:



Otherwise, you can use the direct download link, and select and download a non-torrent DMG for x86-64.


https://download.gimp.org/gimp/v2.10/osx/


As of this writing, it the gimp-2.10.32-x86_64.dmg is the newest for Intel.


If that does not resolve this, contact the folks supporting GIMP.
